Bronny James, the 16-year-old son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, suffered a torn meniscus earlier this month, he confirmed during a Twitch streaming session.
James sustained the meniscus tear during practice with Sierra Canyon School and underwent surgery to repair the injury, sources confirmed to ESPN.
The four-star Class of 2023 prospect occupied a limited role during his freshman year in 2019-20, averaging 4.1 points in 15 minutes per game across 34 appearances.
Sierra Canyon hasn't played any games this season due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
