Jazz's Conley replacing Booker in All-Star Game, Three-Point Contest
Mike Conley is finally heading to an All-Star Game.
The veteran Utah Jazz point guard was invited to the annual showcase in addition to the league's Three-Point Contest as an injury replacement for Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker, the NBA announced Friday. Booker is unavailable due to a left knee sprain.
Conley is the third Jazz player to earn All-Star recognition, joining Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert.
Mitchell relayed his excitement for his teammate through social media shortly after the announcement:

Conley is averaging 16.1 points on 44.4% shooting along with 5.7 assists in 29 appearances this season. He'd never earned an All-Star appearance in his previous 13 NBA seasons prior to the 2020-21 campaign.
The 70th All-Star Game and accompanying Three-Point Competition, Skills Challenge, and Slam Dunk contest will take place in Atlanta on March 7.
