John Wall is likely to undergo a left knee scope procedure this season, Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes reports.
Wall, who has missed the Houston Rockets' last three games with a knee contusion, sat out five contests in January with left knee soreness. He underwent surgery on the same knee in January 2018.
The 30-year-old is reportedly expected to return to the Rockets' lineup shortly. He'll address his persistent knee troubles at a later date, Haynes adds.
Second-year guard Kevin Porter Jr. has impressed in Wall's absence, averaging 17 points and 8.3 assists in three games since being called up from the G League.
Houston (11-26) is set to enter Tuesday's matchup against the Atlanta Hawks on a 16-game losing streak.
