The Toronto Raptors are in serious trade talks with the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Miami Heat regarding franchise star Kyle Lowry, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
The Raptors are reportedly expected to be active in assessing league-wide interest in the 35-year-old point guard ahead of Thursday's 3 p.m. ET trade deadline.
Lowry, an All-Star selection as recently as 2020, will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
Thanks to a recent nine-game losing streak, the 11th-seeded Raptors are currently 18-26 on the year, laying three games behind the Boston Celtics for the eighth seed in the middling Eastern Conference.
