Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry will miss at least another week after an MRI on his tailbone Tuesday revealed inflammation, head coach Steve Kerr said, according to NBC Sports' Drew Shiller.

"We are gonna re-evaluate in a week. ... He's gonna miss the next three games, and then we will re-evaluate," Kerr said Tuesday.

Curry missed the Warriors' last two games, both against the Memphis Grizzlies, and also sat out Tuesday's contest against the Philadelphia 76ers with the issue. He suffered the injury during an awkward third-quarter fall against the Houston Rockets on March 17.

Golden State faces the Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, and Chicago Bulls in its next three games. The Warriors will then embark on a three-game road trip to take on the Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors, and Hawks again.

Curry has played himself into consideration for a third MVP award this season, though the Warriors have teetered on the edge of the Western Conference playoff picture in recent weeks. The 33-year-old is averaging 29 points, 6.2 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and shooting 40.8% on 11.4 attempted threes per game.
