Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner is out indefinitely after an MRI revealed a partial plantar plate tear in his right big toe, the team announced.
Turner had previously missed six straight games with a concussion before returning Sunday in a loss to the Atlanta Hawks. The big man finished with nine points and 11 rebounds in 34 minutes.
Turner has dealt with a lengthy list of injuries since entering the league ahead of the 2015-16 campaign. He's been an essential contributor for Indiana this season, with his 3.4 blocks per game ranking first in the Association.
The Pacers are currently ninth in the East with a 26-30 record.
