Veteran guard Austin Rivers inked a 10-day contract with the Denver Nuggets, the team announced Tuesday.
In 21 appearances with the New York Knicks earlier this season, the 28-year-old put up 7.3 points, 2.2 rebounds, and two assists per game and shot 34.6% from behind the 3-point arc.
Rivers joins a Nuggets backcourt rotation missing Jamal Murray for the remainder of the season after he tore his left ACL a week ago. Either Monte Morris or Facundo Campazzo has started alongside shooting guard Will Barton since Murray's injury on April 12, though Morris is now also expected to miss a few games due to a hamstring strain.
