NBA Wednesday player props: Westbrook, Sabonis to feast

Marcus Morris' 3-point total was the lone winner on Tuesday's card. Otherwise, we settled for a 1-3 night to push our record to an even 4-4 on the week.

Wednesday's board is loaded with nine games, so let's get back on track tonight. Here're which player props we're dialed in on.

Russell Westbrook over 22.5 points

The last time we saw Westbrook in action, he went berserk to the tune of 14 points, 24 assists, and 21 rebounds in a win over the Pacers. His stat line might not be as gaudy Wednesday against the Bucks, but his point total's certainly worth a look.

No unit gave up more buckets to point guards over the last seven games than Milwaukee, which is quietly tied at No. 20 in the league in scoring defense entering Wednesday.

Points allowed to point guards over the last 7 games

The Wizards and Bucks have gone over the total in seven straight meetings, while Westbrook's averaging 32.5 points versus Milwaukee in two games this season.

Royce O'Neale under 17.5 points + rebounds + assists

O'Neale's combined points, rebounds, and assist total isn't particularly high, but it's one bettors should go under on nonetheless. He'll be in the shooting guard spot for Wednesday's game against the Spurs, who've been stout against the position of late.

San Antonio's top four in the NBA in points (19.7), assists (3.8), and 3-point makes (2.3) per game allowed to shooting guards over the previous seven. O'Neale's been limited to 17 or fewer combined points, rebounds, and assists in five of his last seven, and it'll likely be six of eight after tonight.

Domantas Sabonis over 41.5 points + rebounds + assists

Sabonis was one assist shy of recording his second straight triple-double Monday. The versatile big's quietly averaged 29 points, 19 rebounds, and 11.5 assists over his last two games, and the fun times should keep rolling against a lifeless Kings defense.

Sacramento's dead last in the NBA in efficiency, scoring, and paint points allowed this season. Sabonis will have his fingerprints all over this one, as the Kings are also bottom-seven in points, assists, rebounds, and shooting percentage given up to centers.

Brook Lopez under 1.5 made threes

This is arguably my favorite play on the board, to the extent that I'd also take under 0.5 at anything better than +135 if the number drops.

Lopez is ice cold from beyond the arc. He hasn't made multiple threes in seven straight and has been blanked altogether over his last five (0-of-8 combined).

The Wizards give up the second-most points per game in basketball, but Lopez's matchup from the perimeter should be challenging - Washington allows just 0.8 threes per game to centers this season, and that number's dipped to 0.3 across the last 15.
