Cleveland Cavaliers wing Dylan Windler is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery to address ongoing patella tendinopathy concerns in his left knee, the team announced Wednesday.
The 24-year-old rookie has averaged 5.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 16.5 minutes per game across 31 appearances this season. He last played on March 26.
Selected 26th overall by Cleveland in 2019, the Belmont product missed the entire 2019-2020 campaign due to a leg injury he sustained during the preseason.
