Detroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant plans to return for Saturday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers, sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.
The 27-year-old has missed the past four games due to right knee soreness. His reported timeline would also see him miss Thursday's contest versus the Memphis Grizzlies.
Grant, known predominantly as a defensive role player earlier in his career, has enjoyed a breakout season as the focal point of the Pistons' offense. He's averaging 22.5 points and 2.8 assists - both career highs - along with 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in over 34 minutes per game in 2020-21.
The Pistons are currently 19-47 (.288) to sit last in the Eastern Conference.
