Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young says he was left repulsed after viewing footage of a fan spitting on him Wednesday during Game 2 at Madison Square Garden.

"I saw the video, and it's disgusting," Young said during an interview ahead of Game 3 against the New York Knicks. He added, "I'm not mad at the fans who chant things, that's for another subject. But for spitting and things like that, that's uncalled for in any arena and any environment."

The Knicks announced an indefinite ban for the spectator who spat on Young, calling the individual's behavior "completely unacceptable." Knicks fans also mocked Young with a chant about his thinning hair.

It was one of four fan-related incidents to occur Wednesday night. A fan in Philadelphia poured popcorn on Russell Westbrook as he exited to the locker room with an injury. Westbrook's Washington Wizards teammate, Bradley Beal, also said he heard something "crazy" from a spectator during the same game at Wells Fargo Center. In Utah, three Jazz fans were ultimately banned after directing racist and vulgar comments toward Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant's family members.

The NBA announced after Wednesday's events that an "enhanced fan code of conduct" will be enforced going forward.
