Steph predicts 76ers to win NBA title, brother Seth as Finals MVP
Stephen Curry has high expectations for younger brother Seth Curry and the Philadelphia 76ers in this year's playoffs.
In an interview with Ann Killion of the San Francisco Chronicle, the Golden State Warriors star predicted an NBA Finals showdown between the Sixers and Utah Jazz, with Philadelphia winning it all. He also picked Seth to win Finals MVP.
"I'm a pseudo-Sixer fan now," Steph said, adding, "We're going storybook."
Steph noted that even though the Warriors were eliminated in the play-in tournament, he's been enjoying the playoffs.
"I'm not the type to turn them off because I'm not playing," he said. "That first Memphis-Utah game was hard because I imagined in my head, mentally and physically, that we should be playing right now. Once we got that over, I was good. I love watching and playing. The whole deal."
The Sixers are carrying a 2-1 lead in their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Atlanta Hawks. Game 4 takes place Monday night.
