The Phoenix Suns and Chris Paul will run it back.

Paul has agreed to re-sign with the Suns on a four-year deal that could pay him as much as $120 million, his agents confirmed to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The deal will tie Paul to Phoenix until he's 40. While the league's "Over-38" rule can prohibit teams from offering longer contracts to older players, the Suns bypassed the restriction because they possessed Paul's Bird rights, according to Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes

Paul became a free agent after turning down a $44-million player option for 2021-22.

The 11-time All-Star cited his relationships with fellow Suns star Devin Booker and head coach Monty Williams as reasons for wanting to return.

"After this season in Phoenix and experiencing how amazing the fans were, my chemistry with my teammates, with Book, with Monty, I knew Phoenix was where I wanted to be," Paul told Haynes. "It's time to get back to work."
