Six-time All-Star Blake Griffin is re-signing with the Brooklyn Nets on a one-year contract, his agent told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 6-foot-9 big man joined the Nets midway through 2020-21 season after being waved by the Detroit Pistons. Though his once-prodigious athletic gifts have waned, the 32-year-old still averaged over 21 minutes per game with the title hopefuls.
Overall, Griffin averaged 10 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 26 appearances with Brooklyn. Extrapolated over an entire season, his effective field-goal rate of 57.4% would've stood as his career high.
