The Houston Rockets will sign guard Armoni Brooks to a four-year deal, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Financial terms weren't disclosed. The deal is reportedly guaranteed for the first season. Subsequent years can be guaranteed upon reaching future trigger dates.
Brooks averaged 11.2 points last season for the Rockets while on a two-way deal, adding 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in 20 appearances. Undrafted out of Houston in 2019, Brooks also shot 38.2% from distance on 7.9 attempts per contest with the Rockets in 2020-21.
Houston needs to clear up a spot for Brooks before the deal can become official, as the Rockets already have 15 guaranteed deals, according to Spotrac's Keith Smith.
