Jokic brothers come to Nuggets star's defense after shove on Morris
After Nikola Jokic retaliated for a hard foul by Markieff Morris near the end of Monday's Denver Nuggets win over the Miami Heat, Morris' twin and Jokic's brothers got into a war of words on Twitter.
Los Angeles Clippers forward Marcus Morris began by criticizing the reigning NBA MVP's actions.
Waited till bro turned his back smh. NOTED ✍🏾

Jokic's brothers, who recently joined Twitter, expressed their displeasure with Marcus' implied threat in a subsequent tweet Tuesday morning.
Just got a text from Jokic’s brother. This is their real account responding to Marcus Morris’s tweet last night. https://t.co/ON4AH3JxwN

Markieff suffered a neck injury after Jokic shouldered him from behind and stayed down on the court for several minutes before walking off under his own power. He provided his own perspective on events and called out his opponent for his dirty foul.
I love to see the hate! No doubt I took a hard foul which I always do but I’ve never hit a man with his back turned! Luckily we built different over here. I can take my licks and keep pushing. Joker 1 smooth 0 lol.

Both Jokic and Morris were ejected, with Jokic being assessed an unsportsmanlike conduct foul and Morris receiving a flagrant-2 foul. Jokic regretted his actions after watching a replay and said he "felt really bad," according to ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk.
Neither player has received further discipline from the league yet.
