New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson has been cleared to participate in one-on-one drills, the team announced on Tuesday, according to ESPN's Andrew Lopez.
Williamson will undergo further testing on Nov. 24 to determine whether he's ready to move on to full-team workouts.
The 2021 All-Star has missed the entire season thus far while recovering from a foot injury. He was initially expected to be ready for the start of the campaign.
The Pelicans have struggled without their team leader, stumbling to a 2-13 record, the second-worst mark in the NBA.
