Miami Heat point guard Kyle Lowry is the latest NBA star to enter the league's health and safety protocols, the team announced Saturday.
Lowry's currently the only Heat player away from the team due to COVID-19, with forward Caleb Martin testing out of protocols earlier in the day.
Miami will be without its 35-year old floor general until he registers two negative tests 24 hours apart from each other, starting with Sunday's game against the Orlando Magic.
The six-time All-Star is averaging just 13.9 points per game this season, his lowest tally since 2012-13, but is fifth in the NBA at 8.2 assists per contest.
