Free-agent guard Isaiah Thomas signed a 10-day hardship deal with the Dallas Mavericks, the team announced.

The 32-year-old, who wore No. 2, finished Wednesday's loss to the Sacramento Kings with six points and four assists in 13 minutes off the bench.

Thomas played in four games earlier in December with the Los Angeles Lakers during a 10-day contract. He averaged 9.3 points, two rebounds, and 1.5 assists. He recorded 19 points in his debut, a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Dec. 17.

Prior to his deal with L.A., Thomas suited up for three games at the end of the 2020-21 regular season on a 10-day deal with the New Orleans Pelicans.
