Report: NBA says Kings can't play 'Cold as Ice' after Westbrook misses
Russell Westbrook has had a rough go of late.
After averaging just 7.7 points per game on 20% shooting - including 0-of-6 from beyond the 3-point arc - over his last three outings, the Los Angeles Lakers point guard was trolled by a Sacramento Kings franchise that hasn't made the playoffs since 2006.

However, the in-arena gimmick already appears to have met its demise. The NBA has instructed the Kings' arena staff to no longer play the clip from Foreigner's 1970s rock anthem, a source told ABC10's Sean Cunningham.
For his part, Westbrook - who was apparently oblivious to the audio antics in the moment - seemed to take the ribbing in stride by pointing out his overall body of work.

This was hilarious! Westbrook talking about his shooting slump and the in-arena DJ in Sactown playing "cold as ice": "I hope they played that the last 14 years, too. It's funny they play it now. It's cute [laughs]." pic.twitter.com/pBpIKUNLh0

In 46 career outings against the Kings, the nine-time All-Star and 2016-17 league MVP has averaged 22.3 points, 8.4 assists, and 7.9 rebounds per game.
