Ja Morant simply wasn't human Monday night.

The Memphis Grizzlies star erupted for a career-best 52 points in a 118-105 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, breaking the franchise mark of 46 he set just two days prior.

Morant now owns the first, second, fourth, and fifth highest-scoring outputs in Grizzlies history.

"I got close and they told me to go get 50, and you could tell at the end they were looking for me," Morant told Bally Sports after the game.

The former No. 2 pick also unleashed one of the best dunks of the season in the second quarter, throwing down a vicious poster on Spurs big man Jakob Poeltl.

Morant was elated with the dunk - arguably the best of his career - after he missed several close calls in the past.

"I finished the play, finally. For everybody who was saying 'almost,' that's the one for y'all right there," he added.

Just moments later, Morant received a full-court pass from big man Steven Adams and flipped up a midair shot with just 0.4 seconds remaining in the first half for one of the wildest buzzer-beaters in recent memory.

Morant's magical night meant Spurs bench boss Gregg Popovich remains one win away from tying Don Nelson as the NBA's all-time winningest coach.

Monday's victory gave the 43-20 Grizzlies an eighth win in their last 10 contests, putting them just one game back of the Golden State Warriors for the Western Conference's No. 2 seed.
