Draymond rips Warriors after loss to Magic: 'We're getting punked'
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was far from pleased with his team's effort following a 94-90 loss to the basement-dwelling Orlando Magic on Tuesday night.
"We're playing soft. We're playing stupid. We're just not playing good basketball and we're getting punked," Green said postgame, per The Athletic's Anthony Slater.
The Warriors dropped their third straight contest after blowing a 14-point second-half lead and scoring just 16 points in the fourth quarter. Golden State has been outscored in the final frame in each of its last five games.
Green further explained his team's struggles with some less-than-flattering words regarding the 20-53 Magic, who picked up their first win this season against a team currently in the top three of either conference.
"No disrespect to the Orlando Magic, but that's one of the worst teams in the league, and we can't match (physicality) with them," Green added. "So if you can't match that with them, then you're definitely not going to do it against a great team."
Golden State has played its last two-and-a-half games without star Stephen Curry, who went down with a sprained foot on Mar. 16 and is expected out for at least two weeks.
Despite the tough stretch, the Warriors still sit third in the Western Conference at 47-25.
