The San Antonio Spurs selected Baylor wing Jeremy Sochan with the No. 9 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.

The England-raised, Polish national swingman burst onto the scene in his one season at Baylor, showcasing his impressive frame, versatile defense, and burgeoning offensive game while coming off the bench for the one-seeded Bears.

With his strong college campaign, Sochan took home the Big 12's Sixth Man of the Year award and made the conference's All-Freshman team with averages of 9.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, and a combined two blocks and steals per game.

However, statistics will never be Sochan's main draw as a prospect. Instead, his switchability and size allow him to be the ideal Swiss army knife for NBA teams as the league continues to trend toward longer, leaner players at the forward position. His potential as a scorer and playmaker could vault him to an even higher outcome as his career progresses.
