Knicks re-sign Robinson to 4-year, $60M deal

The New York Knicks are bringing back center Mitchell Robinson on a four-year, $60-million contract, his representation told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Robinson averaged 8.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, and two blocks in 230 career games with the Knicks. He recorded 8.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game in 2021-22 while also appearing in a career-high 72 contests.

The Toronto Raptors were also interested in Robinson, SNY's Ian Begley reports.

New York drafted Robinson 36th overall in the 2018 draft. He made the All-Rookie second team, averaging 7.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and a career-high 2.4 blocks.

The Knicks added former Dallas Mavericks guard Jalen Brunson on a four-year, $104-million deal and former Los Angeles Clippers center Isaiah Hartenstein on a two-year, $16-million contract earlier this offseason.
