Raptors sign wing Josh Jackson
The Toronto Raptors announced the signing of forward Josh Jackson on Wednesday.
The move comes after the Raptors waived wing Svi Mykhailiuk on Monday.
Jackson's deal with the Raptors is non-guaranteed, Sportsnet's Blake Murphy reports.
The 25-year-old split time between the Detroit Pistons and Sacramento Kings last season, averaging 5.7 points and 2.4 rebounds in 51 games.
Jackson was selected fourth overall in the 2017 draft by the Phoenix Suns. He made the All-Rookie second team after averaging 13.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and a steal in 77 games.
Phoenix traded Jackson to the Memphis Grizzlies after his sophomore season. He then spent time in the G League where he averaged 20.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1.3 steals for the Memphis Hustle. Jackson appeared in 22 games for the Grizzlies before signing with the Pistons in 2020.
In addition to Jackson, the Raptors have also added wings Otto Porter and Juancho Hernangomez this offseason.
