Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs exited Friday's preseason contest against the Dallas Mavericks with an injury to his lower left leg, the team announced.
Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley said X-rays were negative, but Suggs will undergo an MRI, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.
The 21-year-old is entering his second season with the Magic. He missed 34 games in his rookie campaign due to various injuries, including a thumb fracture and a stress fracture in his right ankle.
Orlando selected Suggs with the No. 5 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
