Charlotte Hornets wing Gordon Hayward will be sidelined indefinitely due to a fracture in his left shoulder, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Hayward will be evaluated week-to-week on his return, his agent told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 32-year-old has dealt with various injuries in recent years. He hasn't played more than 52 regular-season games in a single campaign since 2018-19, when he was with the Boston Celtics.
Hayward signed a four-year, $120-million deal with the Hornets in 2020. He averaged 16.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in 11 contests this season.
