Charles Barkley is ready to bury the hatchet with Michael Jordan.
The NBA Hall of Famers were close friends for years, but their relationship soured over a decade ago when Barkley criticized Jordan's management of the Charlotte Hornets. Charlotte finished with a 34-48 record in its first full season with Jordan as majority owner.
Barkley has defended his stance ever since and hasn't spoken with Jordan in 10 years. However, he said earlier this week that he hopes they can make amends.
"I probably would say (to Jordan), 'Hey, you know, what I said, I believed. I'm sorry you took offense to it, and let's get past this bullshit and go back to playing golf and having fun,'" Barkley told Bleacher Report's Taylor Rooks.

"I thought it would blow over, to be honest with you," Barkley added. "He's stubborn, and I'm stubborn. That's it."
Barkley and Jordan entered the NBA in 1984 and were both members of the "Dream Team" that captured gold at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. The two also famously squared off against each other in the 1993 NBA Finals, with Jordan's Chicago Bulls defeating Barkley's Phoenix Suns in six games.
