Memphis Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane will miss at least three-to-four more weeks as he recovers from a big toe sprain, the team announced Wednesday.
Bane sustained the injury against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Nov. 11 and has been sidelined since. He was originally given a two-to-three-week timeline.
The third-year guard is in the midst of a career season for the 16-9 Grizzlies, averaging 24.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.8 assists while drilling 45% of his 3-pointers.
Memphis is 7-5 in Bane's absence.
The Grizzlies have yet to play with their full lineup intact this year. Starting forward Jaren Jackson recovered from a foot ailment and made his season debut four days after Bane suffered his injury.
