Report: Raptors taking calls on Anunoby; Knicks, Suns interested
The Toronto Raptors are taking calls on forward O.G. Anunoby, The Athletic's Shams Charania reports.
The Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks are among the teams interested in the Raptors wing, according to Charania.
The Knicks are reportedly willing to offer multiple first-round picks, while Phoenix has control of its eight first-round picks through 2030. Suns players such as Cam Johnson, Dario Saric, and Jae Crowder could potentially be in play for Anunoby, Charania reports.
Anunoby denied reports this week that he wants to be traded.
The 25-year-old has missed two games with a wrist injury and will be out at least until the end of Toronto's seven-game Western Conference road trip. He's averaging 16.9 points and 5.5 rebounds while leading the league in steals with 2.1 per game over 45 appearances this season.
Anunoby is currently in the second season of a four-year, $72-million deal. His contract includes a $19.9-million player option for the 2024-25 campaign.
The trade deadline is Feb. 9.
