The Denver Nuggets are trading second-year guard Bones Hyland to the Los Angeles Clippers, a source told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
L.A. is sending Denver second-round picks in 2024 and 2025, Wojnarowski adds. The deal later grew into a four-team trade involving the Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic.
The Clippers will use a $10.9-million trade exception to acquire the 22-year-old, ESPN's Bobby Marks reports.
Denver has benched Hyland in February, as he hasn't appeared in the Nuggets' last four games. The VCU product is averaging 12.1 points, three assists, and two rebounds on the season.
The Nuggets reportedly acquired center Thomas Bryant from the Los Angeles Lakers earlier Thursday for guard Davon Reed and three second-round picks.
