Butler guarantees series win despite consecutive blowout losses
Despite the Miami Heat getting blown out in Games 4 and 5, superstar Jimmy Butler is remaining completely confident in his team's ability to emerge from the Eastern Conference finals.
"We're always going to stay positive, knowing that we can and we will win this series," Butler told reporters after Miami's 110-97 loss Thursday. "We'll just have to close it out at home."
The 8-seed Heat were rolling to start their series with the Boston Celtics, winning each of the first three games before losing the last two by a combined 30 points.
Butler's performances have decreased alongside the team's, averaging 26 points in Miami's wins to 21.5 points in its losses, including a playoff-low 14 on Thursday.
If the Heat are unable to pick up a win in Miami on Saturday, the Celtics will have a shot at home to become the first team in 151 tries to rally back from an 0-3 series deficit.
