The Miami Heat are trading veteran wing Victor Oladipo and draft compensation to the Oklahoma City Thunder, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Oladipo, 31, is in the final season of a two-year, $18.2-million contract. The Heat create a trade exception worth $9.45 million with the trade, Wojnarowski adds. It's not immediately apparent what Miami is receiving in return.

The veteran wing suffered a season-ending knee injury during the playoffs against the Milwaukee Bucks in April.

Oladipo played a single season with the Thunder in 2016-17, averaging 15.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.2 steals in 67 games. Oklahoma City included him in the Paul George trade to the Indiana Pacers, where he turned into a two-time All-Star.

Miami opens up a roster space with the move and has 11 players under contract, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks. The Heat reportedly lost point guard Gabe Vincent to the Los Angeles Lakers, as he agreed to a three-year, $33-million contract.
