Report: Grizzlies acquire Isaiah Todd, pick swaps from Suns for 2nd-rounders
The Memphis Grizzlies acquired a pair of first-round pick swaps and Isaiah Todd from the Phoenix Suns in exchange for three future second-round selections, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Memphis will have the right to swap its own first-rounder in 2024 and 2030 for the lesser of the Suns/Washington Wizards' first-round draft pick, adds Wojnarowski.
The second-round draft picks reportedly included in the deal are a 2025 selection that originally belonged to the New Orleans Pelicans and Memphis' own 2028 and 2029 picks.
Todd was a five-star recruit coming out of high school. He originally committed to play for Michigan but later opted to join the G League Ignite for their inaugural season in 2020-21.
Todd had a solid showing for the developmental team, averaging 12.3 points and shooting 36.2% from deep. The Milwaukee Bucks selected him with the 31st overall pick two years ago, and he eventually made his way to the Wizards after being involved in two separate trades on draft night.
Todd made just 18 appearances for the Wizards over a pair of campaigns in the nation's capital. The 6-foot-10 forward was traded to the Suns last month as part of the Bradley Beal blockbuster deal.
