Warriors sign veteran big man Dario Saric to 1-year deal
The Golden State Warriors have signed veteran big man Dario Saric to a one-year contract, his representation confirmed to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Saric split time between the Phoenix Suns and the Oklahoma City Thunder last season, averaging 6.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists across 57 games. He shot 39% from three, the second-highest mark in his career.
The 29-year-old started his career with the Philadelphia 76ers and also played for the Minnesota Timberwolves during his seven seasons in the league. The 76ers selected the Croatian forward with the No. 12 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.
The Warriors have revamped their roster, adding more veteran players around Stephen Curry. They acquired Chris Paul from the Washington Wizards in a move that included Jordan Poole, re-signed Draymond Green, and added veteran guard Cory Joseph.
