The Phoenix Suns are trading guard Cameron Payne, a second-round pick, and cash to the San Antonio Spurs for a future second-round pick, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Suns are also signing big man Bol Bol and acquiring three second-round picks from the Orlando Magic for a 2026 first-round pick swap, sources told Wojnarowski.

Payne played four seasons with the Suns, averaging 9.8 points, 4.2 assists, and 2.6 rebounds. A former lottery pick in the 2015 draft, he bounced around the league before settling in Phoenix - playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Chicago Bulls, and Cleveland Cavaliers.

The 28-year-old is in the final year of a three-year, $19-million contract. The Suns will create a $6.5-million trade exception with the move, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks. The move also saves $26.4 million on Phoenix's luxury-tax bill, according to Marks.

Bradley Beal is expected to be the starting point guard heading into training camp with third-year guard Jordan Goodwin acting as the backup, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania. Both players were acquired from the Washington Wizards in June for Chris Paul before he was moved to the Golden State Warriors.

Devin Booker also has playmaking experience. He averaged 7.2 assists over 11 playoff contests last season, and 6.8 during the 2018-19 campaign.

Bol's deal with the Suns is fully guaranteed, according to Wojnarowski. The 23-year-old had his best season in the pros for the Magic last campaign, averaging 9.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, and an assist in 70 games.

The Suns have reshaped their roster, trading for Beal and Goodwin, and signing veterans Eric Gordon, Damion Lee, Josh Okogie, Keita Bates-Diop, Drew Eubanks, Chimezie Metu, and Yuta Watanabe.
