Report: Warriors hosting 2025 All-Star Weekend
The NBA is nearing plans to host the 2025 All-Star Weekend at San Francisco's Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Chase Center is one of eight arenas that have yet to host an All-Star Weekend event, alongside the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, TD Garden in Boston, Kaseya Center in Miami, AT&T Center in San Antonio, FedExForum in Memphis, Moda Center in Portland, and Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
The Warriors last hosted All-Star festivities in 2000 in Oakland, where they played from 1971 to 2019. Vince Carter put on his iconic display at the dunk contest that weekend.
Warriors guard Stephen Curry has been named an All-Star for the last three seasons, while teammates Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have five and four selections, respectively.
This upcoming season's All-Star Weekend is in Indianapolis. The Indianapolis Colts' arena, Lucas Oil Stadium, will host the Skills Challenge and Slam Dunk and Three-Point Contests on All-Star Saturday Night. Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Pacers, will host the All-Star Game the following evening.
