Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry won't play Thursday against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to a right knee injury, the team announced.

Curry's knee ailment, which sidelined him for Tuesday's matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves, will be re-evaluated sometime this week. An MRI scan Tuesday didn't reveal structural damage.

The 35-year-old is averaging 30.7 points through 11 games this season to go with 4.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and one steal per game. He's shooting 44.6% from distance on 12.6 attempts per contest, his best rate since the 2015-16 campaign.

However, he's gotten little help from the rest of the roster; Golden State's second-best scorer, Klay Thompson, is averaging just 14.6 points - his worst output since his rookie year. Dario Saric and rookie Brandin Podziemski are the only other Warriors to score 20 or more in a single game so far this year, with both doing so Tuesday (Saric for the second time this season).

Without Curry, the Warriors suffered a 104-101 defeat to Minnesota. Thompson and Draymond Green, as well as Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels, were ejected for central roles in a scuffle just two minutes into the contest.
