Suns' Beal returning Tuesday vs. Warriors
Phoenix Suns star Bradley Beal will be available against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday after missing the last month with a back injury, the team announced Monday.
Beal's debut year in Phoenix has been derailed by injury.
The 30-year-old missed the opening seven games of the season, and his only appearances so far came during a three-game stretch in November. He averaged 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists before aggravating his back issue, causing him to miss the next 12 contests.
As a result of injuries to Beal and fellow Suns star Devin Booker, Phoenix is yet to have its Big Three of Kevin Durant, Booker, and Beal take the court together. Booker missed eight of the season's first 10 games while rehabilitating a calf concern, including the three games in which Beal was available. Durant, the oldest of the trio, has missed just three contests, most recently the Suns' loss to the Sacramento Kings on Friday.
Tuesday's encounter will be the third of four regular-season matchups between the Suns and Warriors. Phoenix won the first two meetings despite playing without Beal in both.
