Doncic reacts to chants from Pistons fans: 'In Detroit? Come on, man'
The harsh reception from the crowd in Detroit on Saturday night didn't bother Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic.
When asked during his postgame press conference if he heard the "Luka sucks!" chants from Pistons fans in the second quarter, Doncic offered up a blunt response.
"In Detroit? Come on, man. I'm good," Doncic said.
"I love it," he added. "They know it's not true, and they keep going, so I love it."
Doncic finished with 39 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds as the Mavs defeated the Pistons 142-124, becoming the first player in NBA history to record six consecutive 30-point triple-doubles. The 25-year-old also recorded his fifth straight 35-point triple-double, extending his own record.
The Mavs improved to 36-28 on the season with the win, while the Pistons remain at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with a 10-53 record.
