Curry open to future political career
Stephen Curry could dip his toes into the political world once his NBA career ends.
The Golden State Warriors star left the door open when asked about running for President of the United States one day in an interview with CBS News' Jericka Duncan.
"Maybe," Curry said, adding, "I have an interest in leveraging every part of my influence for good in the way that I can. So if that's the way to do it - I'm not saying the presidency ... but if politics is the way that you can create meaningful change, or if there's another way outside of politics that we can do."
When Duncan suggested he run in 2028, Curry responded, "Not that soon."

While Curry's primary focus remains basketball, he's been busy off the court with his production company and other projects, including his latest children's book, "I Am Extraordinary," which was released Tuesday. The story centers around a young girl with hearing loss named Zoe and aims to teach kids "how to look inside themselves to find self-acceptance and the confidence to achieve any goal," according to the book's synopsis.
Curry is in the second season of the four-year, $215.3 million contract he signed with the Warriors in 2021.
