LeBron, Redick creating new basketball-focused podcast
LeBron James and JJ Redick will co-host a new podcast centered entirely around basketball, according to The Athletic's Andrew Marchand, citing James, his longtime business partner Maverick Carter, and Redick.
The podcast, titled "Mind the Game," will feature a heavy focus on strategy, tactics, and detailed schemes within the sport. It'll release episodes weekly, with the first scheduled to drop on Tuesday.
A preview posted Monday on X shows the Los Angeles Lakers star and the current ESPN analyst discussing coverages while drinking wine.

Consider their podcast, Mind the Game, a celebration of the sport as they discuss the state of the game, dissect X’s and O’s (like they do here), and wax poetic about the game they love. pic.twitter.com/lDf8ToVlHE
"It's meant to be a very free-flowing conversation about the sport and about the game," Redick told Marchand. "If you look at it in a very simplistic way, it's just about basketball."
Uninterrupted, the media company founded by James and Carter, and Redick's ThreeFourTwo Productions, which produces the retired sharpshooter's other podcast, "The Old Man and the Three," will both be involved with the new show.
"I'm really proud of what we've done to innovate in sports media," James told Marchand in a statement. "When I do a project, the only thing I think about is whether me and my friends would watch it. That is definitely the case with 'Mind the Game.'
"Everything doesn't need to be designed for internet culture and clicks."
