Tyronn Lue believes the Los Angeles Clippers are going through an identity crisis as their home struggles continue.

Following his team's 133-116 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Monday night, the Clippers head coach said they've become too "soft."

"Identity for us, it's got to be toughness," Lue said, according to ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk. "Which means physicality, mental and physical toughness, a high-powered offense - we can score in a lot of different ways - and we got to have a defensive mindset.

"And so right now, do we have an identity? I think, yeah, we're soft."

Monday marked the fifth straight home loss for the Clippers, who are now fifth in the Western Conference after sitting atop the standings in early February.

"When we were 26-5, we had a great identity," Lue said. "So you can't pick and choose when you want to lead. You can't pick and choose when you want to have identity. You can't pick and choose when you want to do things the right way."

The Clippers kick off a four-game road trip Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
