Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic played in Game 2 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics on Sunday night after previously being listed as questionable due to a thoracic contusion.

The 25-year-old had been consistently listed as probable in previous contests due to a knee sprain and ankle soreness, but his status worsened as Dallas added the thoracic contusion to Doncic's ailments on the injury report.

The Mavericks point forward showed signs of discomfort in his chest area during a team practice Saturday in Boston.

Doncic scored 30 points with 10 rebounds and an assist in the Mavericks' 18-point Game 1 loss in Boston on Thursday. The Slovenian is averaging 28.8 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 8.4 assists in the postseason through his first career Finals appearance. He leads all players in multiple categories this postseason, including points (519), rebounds (174), and assists (151).

The Celtics' injury report, meanwhile, is clear for the first time all playoffs. Their last entry, Kristaps Porzingis, is no longer listed after returning in Thursday's series opener from a calf muscle strain that sidelined him for 10 straight playoff games over a month.
