Included in Monday's publication of Forbes' Richest 400 Americans were a number of the NBA owners.

In fact, the richest sports-team owner on the list is Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen of the Portland Trail Blazers and the Seattle Seahawks. Allen is ranked as the 26th richest American and is worth $15.8 billion according to Forbes.

The next richest NBA owner is the Orlando Magic's Rich Devos who comes in at No. 60 with a net worth of $6.8 billion.

Also on the list is Stan Kroenke (Nuggets, $5.3 billion), Micky Arison (Heat, $5.9 billion), Charles Dolan (Knicks, $3.3 billion), Mark Cuban (Mavericks, $2.5 billion), Tom Gores (Pistons, $2.7 billion), Josh Harris (76ers, $2.5 billion), Robert Pera (Grizzlies, $1.95 billion), Herb Simon (Pacers, $1.95 billion), Donald Sterling (Clippers $1.9 billion), Glen Taylor (Timberwolves, $1.7 billion), and Tom Benson (Pelicans, $1.3 billion).

However, even if all the listed NBA owners combined their money, they still wouldn't have as much as Bill Gates who tops Forbes' list with a net worth of $72 billion.
