Report: Thunder re-sign Wiggins, Joe to long-term deals
The Oklahoma City Thunder are re-signing key reserves Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Joe's deal is for four years and $48 million, while Wiggins is receiving a five-year, $47-million contract, Charania reports.
The 24-year-old Joe has spent two seasons in Oklahoma City after playing his first two campaigns with the Philadelphia 76ers following his second-round selection in 2020. The marksman is shooting 39.7% from beyond the arc across his career, including over 40% in each of his two seasons with the Thunder.
Meanwhile, Wiggins has spent all three of his seasons with the Thunder after being taken 55th overall in 2021. The Maryland product averaged 6.9 points per game last year on a blistering 49.2% clip from deep.
