Group-play schedule released for NBA Cup
The NBA released the group-play schedule Tuesday for the second annual NBA Cup, which kicks off Nov. 12.
The league's in-season tournament will again consist of contests played on Tuesday and Friday in November and early December. All group-stage games will count toward a team's regular-season record, and only NBA Cup contests will be played on the designated days.
The tournament will also feature national-television games, starting with a playoff rematch between the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks, along with a duel between the Dallas Mavericks and Golden State Warriors.
A full day-by-day breakdown can be found here.

The NBA revealed three groups of five teams in each conference in July. Each team plays its other group members once in the opening stage. Six group winners and two wild-card teams will advance to the quarterfinals in December.
The semifinals and final will once again take place at a neutral court in Las Vegas.
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Indiana Pacers in the NBA Cup final last season.
