Three of Team USA's players had to hold off on celebrating their gold-medal win at the Paris Olympics because of a drug test.

While appearing at a "Boardroom Talks" event as part of Fanatics Fest over the weekend, Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards revealed that he, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry were all tested following Team USA's 98-87 win over France in the men's basketball final.

"After the gold medal, I'm not gonna lie, me and (Durant) had a... what do they call it? A drug test? We had a drug test," Edwards said. "We couldn't even really celebrate in the locker room for real 'cause me, (Durant), and Steph had to take like a drug test or something."

Edwards, who was joined by Durant at the event, had eight points off the bench for Team USA in the final. Durant finished with 15 points, while Curry had a team-high 24.

The gold medal was the fifth straight for the U.S. men's national basketball team at the Olympics and its 17th overall.
