Clippers, Zubac agree to 3-year, $58.6M extension
Center Ivica Zubac agreed to a three-year, $58.6-million contract extension with the Los Angeles Clippers, his representation told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Zubac will earn the maximum available to him for a three-year extension, according to Wojnarowski. He's now locked down for the next four seasons.
The Croatian averaged a career-high 11.7 points and 9.2 rebounds for the Clippers last season. His game improved in the playoffs, averaging 16.2 points in the first round against the Dallas Mavericks.
Los Angeles lost Paul George in the offseason but re-signed James Harden to a two-year deal and added veterans Nicolas Batum, Derrick Jones Jr., Kevin Porter Jr., and Kris Dunn.
Zubac has spent the majority of his career with the Clippers after coming over in a trade with the rival Los Angeles Lakers in 2018.
