Steph suffers 'mild or moderate' ankle sprain vs. Clippers
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry suffered a left ankle sprain during Sunday's 112-104 defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Curry told Warriors head coach Steve Kerr the injury is "mild or moderate," per The Athletic's Anthony Slater. The 36-year-old will undergo an MRI on Sunday.
Curry limped off with 2:43 left in the third quarter after landing awkwardly while navigating an off-ball screen. He sat for the remainder of the quarter, using a band to stretch the ankle out, according to Slater.

He returned with 8:08 remaining in the fourth quarter but looked to aggravate his injury, slipping on the court while trying to set a screen for teammate Moses Moody.

Curry recorded 18 points, six assists, four rebounds, and two steals in 27 minutes. Andrew Wiggins led the team in scoring with 29 points.
The Warriors suffered their first loss of the season. They're off Monday before a home back-to-back against the New Orleans Pelicans beginning Tuesday.
